Erskine Marykirk

The church facade (1825/26) is now tastefully incorporated into a splendid modern youth hostel. The original Erskine Kirk (church) was founded in the 18th century amid local rebellious upheaval. The tomb of the church's founder , the Reverend Ebenezer Erskine, lies in front of the church.
